At Kuonola, we want to do our best to ensure that your dog’s paws are in good condition. That is why we offer nail and paw care services, including nail clipping, pad care and feet trims. In addition to our services, we recommend the use of balms developed for pad care at home, which keep the pads healthy, soft and flexible in the demanding and varying climate in Finland.
BOOK AN APPOINTMENT FOR PAW CARE
Careful clipping of the nails to the appropriate length. We always aim to clip the nails as short as possible without damaging the cuticle. This way we can best prevent the problems caused by overgrown nails, such as an incorrect leg position, pain and inflammation.

Comprehensive paw care, which includes nail clipping, paw hair tidying by scissoring and careful application of our balm to the pads.
Clipping the paw hair short can reduce the amount of dirt and sand carried indoors in the summertime and prevent lumps of snow from sticking to and between the dog’s toes in winter. Greasing the pads helps keep them soft and flexible.
